SEKORIA FINNEY
I am a mother of 3, one girl and two boys. I am a daughter, a granddaughter, a sister and an aunt. I have been a resident of the Summit Lake Community for the last 30 years of my life. Someone that is Eager to help, Kind to all, Optimistic, Respectful, Inspiring and Authentic. My favorite food is pizza and I love crafting. I am passionate in seeing our youth become more than a statistic. I have been employed at Sams Club in Fairlawn for over 5 years. In August 2017 I started a small business making gift baskets, custom T-shirts, mugs and canvas prints. I am dedicated to making a difference in my community one day at a time.

GROWING MINDZ
An opportunity to use everyday tools to better ourselves!
Growing Mindz brought together youth from the Summit Lake neighborhood to visit cultural institutions, learn healthy eating, create art and music, and share their talents. They are now working on creating a memorial garden where people can reflect on loved ones that they have lost.
